The Lighthouse Inn

Book 3 in the series – Supper at Storm’s End

Welcome back to The Lighthouse Inn

Supper at Storm's End

Supper at Storm's End book cover

If you haven’t yet spent time at the Lighthouse Inn, here’s a quick update.

There’s an old lighthouse, still standing at the edge of a quiet Cornish village, and converted years ago into a small inn. Running it is a woman who spent the first decade of her working years studying marine biology, before a surprise inheritance from her late grandmother pulled her back to the coast, and into a very different kind of life. She didn’t plan on becoming an innkeeper. She certainly didn’t plan on solving murders.

She isn’t alone in this. There’s her Celtic cook, almost eighty years old, sharp as a tack and entirely unbothered by the idea that supper should still be served on time, no matter what chaos is unfolding around her. There’s the police sergeant from nearby Truro, who has learned to take her theories more seriously than he’d like to admit. And there’s a three-legged greyhound and a teenage girl with a gift for technology that has, more than once, turned out to be exactly what a case needed.

Two books in, that’s the world you’ll already know from Dead in the Water, and The Tide Brings No Mercy.

Book 3, Supper at Storm’s End, brings something new to the village: a film crew, arriving to shoot a movie in a place that has never seen anything like it. Cameras, cast, and an executive producer who is about to discover that Storm’s End remembers things for longer than he’d like.

We’ll be sharing more in the coming weeks. For now, welcome back to The Lighthouse Inn, or if this is your first visit, welcome. You won’t go home hungry.
